Reviews and Client Testimonials for TJB Remodeling
We are so pleased with our remodeled porch. Thanks for making it so nice and comfortable. Also want to let you know what a pleasure it was doing business with you, and also each and every person that we met that was working on the porch. You have a great crew.

Molly & I love the way remodel turned out! Several friends have been amazed at the design/craftsmanship and think it’s worthy of being in a magazine.

We hired Jason and his crew for the second time in less than two years because of the quality of work and because we trust them. We wanted to enclose our wrap-around porch, a signature on our traditional house. After coming out to talk about a ballpark estimate and to get some ideas, Jason suggested we instead add a 3-season porch off the side of our house. It was pure brilliance - better space, about the same cost and better resale for the future. Our specs: put us outside but minus the bugs and make it look like it was meant to be part of our house. Jason and his team designed the perfect space for us but it involved cutting off the “wrap-around” part of our porch. As we watched them take a circular saw to our porch roof, we said, “We’d would have only trusted TJB to pull that off!” Even though there was a snag with our new doors, the fault of the manufacturer, not TJB, Jason took care of the issue and of us. Not only do we enjoy working with Jason and the TJB team, Jason’s sub-contractors are always professional, friendly and top-notch. The project was wrapped up in the winter, so we’re looking forward to furnishing the room and enjoying our new awesome space in the spring!
I hope you and your family had a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year. We love our main floor Remodel and new kitchen. Walking Downstairs in the morning and coming home after work never gets old. Thanks again for your efforts and creativity.
We couldn’t be happier with the results of our remodeled basement and have received numerous compliments from everyone who has seen it.
One of the reasons we choose TJB Remodeling was their help with the design of our basement; we had a general idea of what we wanted and they filled in the details beautifully. Jason has great ideas when it comes to doing things the right way and pushes back when he feels the homeowner is making a bad choice.
TJB Remodeling did an excellent job maintaining our schedule which was completed on time right before Christmas. Also, there weren't any surprises with the budget at all.
Jason and his team at TJB homes did a marvelous job on our home renovation. On time, on budget, great communicators, which is almost unheard of in this industry. Not too mention they were a fun group to work with. I felt they bent over backwards to help us achieve our dream home. Would highly recommend them.
We were very pleased with the outcome of the project. We bid the project out to a couple recommendations and what drew us to TJB was the combination of cost / scheduling / price guaranty. Our project was complicated with the city of Minneapolis, but once we got through the initial phases and TJB could get in and get to work. Jason gave us a schedule from the beginning detailing the 13 week project, which his subs kept. The project finished on time and on-budget. We have an older house and wanted to keep the character of the house, which he did. Jason helped us through some of the design questions we had, but wasn’t overwhelming with how he wanted things - he guided us, but final decisions were ours.
We were so happy to have the expertise, confidence, and creativity behind TJB Remodeling when we chose to completely re-do the exterior of our house. Jason and his crew were professional, organized, and timely with the project. We couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks TJB Remodeling.
Jason and his team were true professionals and such a pleasure to work with. He had amazing vision to turn our desires and dreams into a reality. They turned our 1970’s wood paneled, shag carpeted, out dated house into our dream home. I would highly recommend them to anybody and plan to use them again in the future.
We truly love our new addition and remodel. We were very impressed with how you were able to stay on schedule as you did, and we appreciated that very much! Your framers were the hardest working gentlemen we have met and we were very grateful to have them working on our home.
Bernie & Sue
We just wanted to drop you a note and say thanks again for the great job you did on our new addition and remodel of our bathrooms, the new siding and windows as well. Your attention to all the small details, and all of our change orders was truly amazing. You did what you promised, no surprises, on budget, and on time. Yourself, Tony, and all of your subcontractors were great to work with. We couldn’t of asked for a better experience.
Jerry & Linda
We’re loving our new Lower level.
Jason and his team did a wonderful job on our basement finish. Jason is creative and has great suggestions, but, he’s also a wonderful listener and understands what you’re trying to accomplish with your project. The neat thing is the work scheduled will go as planned; you will be finished with your project on time! Lastly, TJB Remodeling quality is assured!
Thanks Again Jason.

We just wanted to say thank you for the amazing job you did for us on our 3 season porch / deck build. We had been toying with the idea for over 3 years of what to do and design dilemmas, and you helped us make some great decisions. The quality of craftsmanship and finish product is what we had been dreaming about for years from all of the pictures we have seen on Pintrest, Houzz and in the fancy magazines and you delivered that for us. You were extremely timely, easy, and fun to work with! We are so happy with our porch/deck and how well you handled our build. We have a laundry list of projects to do, and you will be the one we turn to!
Thanks again for such an amazing & peaceful room you crated for us on our home.
Niki & Andy Beck
Thank you for being so organized and always quick to respond to our questions, changes, etc. We really appreciate it.
You have made this journey so far really easy... we are excited for the house transformation!
Andy & Sarah
On behalf of the entire Langsev family we wish to extend a HUGE Thank You! You took our dream and created a beautiful masterpiece that we call home!
I don’t know too many people that go through a Major construction project like we did and at the end of the project can say that they Love their contractor, but we Do!
We were impressed with you from our initial meeting and the impression you set never faded. We didn’t believe contractors like you really existed. All through the process, you “showed-up” you were timely, you were always accessible to us, Most importantly you kept your promises! When we embarked on this journey all of our friends & neighbors laughed at us and said no way will you guys be back in your home that quickly and yet you were. The other important thing you did or should I say you didn’t do is cut corners to keep our job on time or in budget…You Always did the right thing! Which we appreciate more than you know. As an added benefit you were fun to work with.
I feel it’s also important to give a shout out to your subs. I think you have the best in the Business. They are all exceptionally good at their trades and were always super respectful anytime we “popped’-in” to check on the progress.
As you know we essentially have a brand new house without tearing it down. The functionality and flow we gained through this process is remarkable and we have a house we will enjoy for years to come.
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention your Dad. The “T” in TJB homes… you guys bent over backwards to find a way to work with us. We are eternally grateful we met such a quality home builder.
If we can ever serve as a reference for anyone at TJB homes we would be honored to do so.
Please don’t be a stranger.
Ryan & Leslie Langsev
Just want to let you know everything looks great! We are very happy with our new kitchen, laundry room and fireplace. I was finally able to put things into the laundry room cabinets this weekend, and it has freed up so much space in the kitchen. The kids use the hooks and cubbies every day for all of their homework and backpacks. It is so nice!
The remodel you did for us three years ago is still fantastic and holding up well. As of yesterday our adoption of the "sixers" has been official for three years. Wow.
We are looking at refinancing to a 15 year mortgage (Spring 2016) and would like to possible wrap a kitchen remodel and/or 4 season porch into the refinancing.
Based on the quality and timeline you completed the last project for us, we'd definitely be going with TJB homes again!
I wanted to let you know how thrilled we are with our main level remodel. We had the need to better utilize our space and you had great ideas that were not only practical but stunning. From the beginning, we appreciated your prompt responses and the organized manner in which you do business. Your ideas were unique, useful and exactly what we needed based on our requirements and the problems we were trying to solve. Every single step was handled professionally, including the sub-contractors that all came through our house. Everyone was respectful, professional and friendly. We went from hating our main level entry points (and potentially selling our home) to totally loving it! It not only suits our needs now, but we strongly believe the new design will be a huge selling point when we do decide to move on. For now, we are thoroughly enjoying our new space - from the new layout to the wickedly awesome cabinetry; the new ceiling to the new floor. Thanks for making the experience a very positive one. We have already referred TJB Remodeling to a couple of people who saw our "after" photos on Facebook and will continue to do so anytime anyone asks. The next remodel job is yours, without question.
Also, here are the photos of the cabinets that you wanted.
It was a pleasure! Please pass on our appreciation to Tony for being our main guy on-site most of the time. He’s top shelf.
Lisa & Paul Meunier
Just wanted to say thanks for fixing the floor. You guys are a pleasure to work with and we appreciate that you stand behind your work (even when the “perfect storm” seams were the problem).
Thanks for your thoroughness in investigating the root of the problem.
Thanks for taking the extra time to fix the sub-floor as Jason asked and for keeping a smile on your face despite being back at our house for who knows how many times.

Letter of Recommendation
When we met with Jason to talk about building an addition to our home, he expanded on our ideas by asking questions and sketching possible results. He brought experience and creative suggestions that produced a building plan that we could visualize and matched what we wanted. Within a few days, he walked us through a detailed plan with a cost estimate, answering any question that we had.
He provided a schedule that let us plan for the construction. Every phase was carefully managed to that schedule. From the moment that they broke ground for the basement, to the last paint touchups and cleanup, work was done both quickly and with precise attention to details. As with any larger project, changes to the plan did happen, but Jason worked with us to ensure there were no surprises.
The skilled tradesmen finished the project beautifully. Every single person that we dealt with was courteous and respectful of us and our home. There is not a single part that we would have wanted to be done differently.
Our addition is now a wonderful large, new living room with a vaulted ceiling, tall windows, and a fireplace to settle around with family and friends. We are so glad that we picked the right contractor for us. We strongly recommend to anyone who is interested in having an addition built - one that exceeds their expectations on time and on budget - that they call Jason at TJB Homes, Inc.
Dan and Diane Dodge
We are extremely happy with our newly finished basement. It looks fantastic - it matches the remainder of the house perfectly and feels nothing like a basement space anymore. We really appreciated having a daily schedule for the project to let us know who and what progress to expect at the house. We were impressed that everything for the entire 7-week project was completed exactly to the scheduled day. All of the TJB staff and subcontractors were very professional and friendly. The project went much faster and smoother than we thought possible. We would definitely recommend TJB.
Meghan & John
Now that our project is complete, Sara and I wanted to say THANK YOU for the great way you handled our addition - and us for that matter. We appreciated all the time you spent with us pre-project, hearing what we wanted while patiently helping us figure out how to make it work. It turned out better than we ever imagined it could! We get compliments from everyone that stops in and always hear "wow, who did your addition?" People that haven't been to our house can't tell where the addition begins, which was our goal, of course. We would highly recommend TJB to our friends and family. Thanks again and say "hi" to Tony for us.
Mat and Sara Rolando
Everything looks SO GOOD… Thank you SO much for all your help in getting this done. We could not have done it without you J
Again, thanks SO MUCH - we are VERY HAPPY with all your work and it really does look awesome. Cannot wait to put everything back together, Lots more spots to put things J
Again - thanks for everything - and hope you have a good day!
I LOVE MY KITCHEN!!!!!!
Several years ago I decided to knock down my wobbly deck on the back of my house and replace it with an all season porch. I went to several home improvement shows and did some research and choose TJB Homes. Over the years I have loved my all season porch and it became one of the favorite rooms in my house. This spring when I finally was ready to turn my small kitchen and small dining room into a large kitchen I again called TJB Homes.
I had a consultation with Jason. He presented a wonderful plan for my new space. I was told exactly how it would be built, what products would be used and how much it would cost. When construction started I was given a calender so I would know how long the project would take and dates of what would happen each day during the weeks to come and when the project would be finished. Without hesitation I hired TJB Homes to do this project.
TJB uses only the best sub-contractors. Not only were they talented in their craft, they worked very hard and kept everything on schedule. Every person who came in my house was friendly, polite and very respectful of me and my home.
One of the extra nice things TJB does is have a person come into clean when all the work is done. A wonderful young woman spent hours vacuuming, dusting and polishing my fabulous new kitchen.
I would strongly recommend TJB Homes. They are professional, ethical and willing to accommodate any request I had. It was a wonderful and fun experience.
Angela, (Executive Producer, Bath Crashers) I have to email and say THANK YOU for the unbelievable bathroom that your team provided us this past week. We are absolutely in love with every detail, from the lofted ceiling to the reclaimed bar wood accents to the amazing shower! This whole thing greatly surpassed any expectation we ever had going into it. We are blown away and can't say thank you enough to you and every member of your team.
Also, I'm sure you hear this every time, but I have to tell you that we were so impressed with every person that came through our house. Everyone was so professional, so nice, and just a lot of fun to be around. Each member of the production team was really great to work with -- especially Kim, Matt, Maggie, Bernie, Eric, Dan, Hannah, and Neal (hopefully I'm not forgetting anyone) They were all so nice to us and very respectful of our home-- they especially showed a lot of love to our dog (Hudson) and baby Robert. We also couldn't be more impressed with each of the hired contractors. The designer John captured our style exactly. All the skilled workers did such amazing work (and so fast) and were incredible to be around the whole time. The contracting company should also get a special shutout. Jason and Tony were amazing to work with and I will recommend them to anyone who will listen.
We are so incredibly grateful for this bathroom and all the time, energy, and effort that this team did on our behalf. I can only hope that our show becomes incredibly popular and makes you all a lot of money, because we don't know how else to say thank you. Please pass our thank you on to the entire team, I'm pretty sure we are going to miss having them around this week!
Travis, Heather, Robert & Hudson
You guys are amazing.
That bathroom was spectacular.
Your crew did a terrific job in South St. Paul! Everyone on the site was so happy with the shoot...
the bathroom was beautiful and you lead a great team.
Congrats on your first Bath Crashers bathroom! Looking forward to more!
Our new kitchen looks great! Thanks to you and all your subs for the good work!

It was good seeing you at the Home and Garden show yesterday.
I was wondering if you ever need a reference letter for the remodeling you did here, let us know.
Just the other day ago, as I was downstairs, I was admiring how excellent of a job you guys did and how nice it looks. I have also always been impressed by how professional it all went down - time line and specs were kept to a T.
We've hired many contractors in our day with all our properties, but you were by far the best!
Prospective TJB Customers: If you're considering any size remodeling project, and one or more of the following factors are important to you, we suggest you seriously consider Jason Budzynski and TJB Homes, Inc.
1. Good communication between homeowner and contractor. Jason was always available by phone or email. In the unlikely event we couldn't reach him immediately, he returned calls promptly. He never left us hanging. He also explained options to us and provided as much detail as we required throughout the entire project (which at times was significant).
2. Timely project completion. Jason developed and maintained a tight schedule, actually completing our project early.
3. One primary contact throughout the project. Of the contractors we considered, TJB was the only one with one primary contact from beginning to end. This worked well for us. Once we'd developed rapport and communications with one individual, we didn't want to be turned over to a project manager we'd never met. It also helped that Jason was adept in many diverse areas: project design; sales (he was persistent but not overbearing); contract negotiations (easy to understand contract and accommodating when we requested changes); contacts and personal expertise in areas not specifically in the contract (e.g., electronics, landscaping, underground sprinkler systems); problem resolution (practical solutions to issues bound to arise in any major remodeling project); project management; and construction worker (yes, he even ran the bobcat as needed).
4. Homes to visit: Jason took us to the homes of several previous customers plus TJB model homes so we could actually view some of the features we were considering. It really helped us visualize things.
5. Simple change orders: Our remodeling project was extensive and we added more as we went along. We were pleasantly surprised when Jason incorporated all of our changes into his project schedule without adding a single day. And there were no fees for change orders.
6. Assistance moving things: Without our request, Jason wrote into the contract that TJB would make arrangements for a POD to be delivered and that TJB employees would move larger items into it. Besides all the other positive factors, this was the decision maker since age and health issues made moving things difficult for us. We also had planned to move out for two or three weeks of the projected sixteen week project. When our doctor and Jason recommended we move out for the majority of the project, Jason and his employees moved us into and out of an apartment we found, without any moving fees. We are so glad we moved out and highly recommend it to anyone with an extensive remodeling project. The cost was insignificant compared to the total cost of our project and the damage the dust could have done to our health.
7. Professionalism: Jason was the ultimate professional in all types of situations and helped keep us balanced throughout the project. He also has a great sense of humor and worked well with subcontractors and city officials.
8. Home cleaned upon project completion: We were very satisfied with the cleaning done by TJB employees when our project was completed.
9. Satisfactory resolution of project issues. Less this list makes it appear that Jason and TJB Homes walk on water, there were a few things we felt could be improved.
a.Although we moved out, we preferred more thorough cleaning between major project phases.
b.While we are definitely pleased with the overall quality of the project, the work done by a few of TJB's subcontractors did not originally meet our expectations. To his credit, Jason ensured that these issues were resolved to our satisfaction. And his prompt response didn't end with project completion. When we found a few problems after moving back in, Jason has promptly resolved these issues as well.
10. Competitive pricing: We had bids from several contractors (for this project as well as other remodeling efforts we previously considered). TJB was very competitive in their pricing.
If you're wondering about the type of remodeling project TJB Homes and Jason completed for us, it was major. We built an L Rambler in 1972. Every few years we seriously considered building a larger home or remodeling our existing home. But we always found something wrong with the contractor, the site, or the plans. Then we met Jason. He understood our needs and we felt he was someone we could easily work with. We also liked his suggestions for changes to our latest remodeling plans.
As newly retired seniors, we wanted to add functionality and fun to our home - so we could age gracefully in it. For functionality we moved our garage forward (offsetting the door so we have room for a riding snow blower if needed); added a mudroom (huge pantry, second refrigerator, closet and bench/hooks) and laundry room off the kitchen; expanded our front entry and storage space; and enlarged our master bathroom to go from a 32" x 34" fiberglass shower to a 36" x 60" ceramic shower with dual shower heads. For fun we converted our living room into a family room with a 52" TV and ceiling speakers. We also added a screen porch done in tongue and groove cedar with lots of easily opened vinyl windows and a fireplace to extend its usage into the fall and spring. We'll finish the project this summer with a new patio and extensive landscaping.
We love the finished product. With Jason's help we met our goals of fun and functionality. We think the best part will be the porch. It's like sitting outside, without the bugs, the wind, the rain or the direct sun. An unexpected treat was using the porch even in winter. On multiple occasions we've watched the snow swirl around us, while the fireplace kept the temperature 35 degrees warmer than the outside temperature.
If you're considering TJB Homes and would like a tour of our home, just ask Jason. We love to show it off.

I love my bathrooms - they both exceed my expectations. I especially love the shower in the master! You were very helpful and gave me great advice along the way. Please feel free to use my name as a reference as I am pleased to have a TJB home with a great TJB remodel. I'm already thinking about updating the first floor bath, so I'm sure you will hear from me again.
Thank you again!
Dear Future Clients,
When we began our search for a remodeling contractor, we interviewed representatives from 4 companies. Jason's bid from TJB Remodeling was very competitive and by far the most detailed. The fact that TJB Homes has been in business for over 20 years and that they use the same sub-contractors for their remodeling division as they do for their new construction division assured us their work would be held to high standards and be completed on schedule. Since we were planning to remodel almost the entire 1st and 2nd floor with a master bath addition, we felt confident that Jason and TJB Remodeling would be the best choice and they definitely were!
The project officially began in mid October and was to take three-and-a-half months. Jason provided us with a calendar detailing milestones (demolition, framing, window installation, framing inspection, electrical installation, electrical inspection, plumbing, drywall installation, mudding, painting, tile installation, cabinet installation, staining, wood floor refinishing, carpet installation, appliance installation, cabinet top installation, and final inspection) that he and his sub-contractors expected to meet. It also included time for us to choose kitchen appliances, tile, carpet, plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, and paint selections. Throughout the project Jason and his sub-contractors were professional, enthusiastic, and extremely helpful. The final inspection was on January 31st, exactly three-and-a-half months after the project started.
From his many product and structural suggestions to promptly returning our phone calls, Jason made what could have been a very stressful experience into an exciting project. We truly love our new home! In fact, we brought TJB Remodeling and their sub- contractors back this summer to build an ironwood deck and concrete patio. Once again they did an excellent job.
Jason has asked us to participate in the Parade of Homes Remodelers Showcase the weekend of October 10th - 12th, 2003. If you're thinking about remodeling, this would be a great opportunity to see TJB Remodeling's quality craftsmanship and maybe even get a few ideas for your own home. We are so happy with all of their work and would highly recommend them for any remodeling project you may have in the near future.
Did we mention that we love our "new" home?!

I'm sitting in our newly-remodeled basement, writing to tell you how much we are enjoying this beautiful space. Those who had seen it before truly appreciate the transformation from a dreary and dated 1950's basement into a contemporary and inviting place for family and friends to gather, relax and have fun.
As you know, this is our third remodeling project with TJB over the past ten years, with each one being more extensive. We continue to appreciate the vast amount of experience, up-to-date industry knowledge, design expertise, and commitment to quality that you bring. But beyond your professionalism it is your integrity and commitment to do your best for our family that means so much to us. You understand and accommodate our concerns, especially as it relates to the health and safety of our daughter.
We also wanted to acknowledge the other folks at TJB: Jason, C.J., Randy, Tiffany, and Becky who were part of the 'team' and a pleasure with whom to work. In addition (Geez, this sounds like the "Oscars"...) your people worked hard to keep the project on schedule and minimize the amount of disruption. Everyone was respectful and a pleasure to have in our home.
project for a job well done!

Dear TJB Homes:
My wife Faith and I just wanted to write to let you know how much we are enjoying our new basement in which you recently completed. The basement came out way beyond our expectations and we always look forward to showing it off to our friends and family. The entire process from the planning to the finishing touches was completed very professionally and within 2 days of your estimated date of completion. After living in a TJB home for the past four years we knew we could not accept anything less for our basement refinish than the quality that we have come to expect from TJB. We had 2 other builders do comparison estimates and one of them was a friend and neighbor of ours. After he completed his estimate he admitted that he could not do it for any less than what you had offered and stated that your estimate was very competitive especially considering TJB's reputation for their quality. I will be more than enthusiastic in the future for anyone looking for a reference on TJB Homes and ensure them that they will only be settling for the BEST if they choose you for anything they may need to enhance their quality of life.
Email Testimonial Sent To Tom Budzynski, President of TJB Homes.
I just wanted to say thanks to the whole team from TJB who helped us with our fireplace remodeling job. We were very happy that we selected TJB and felt comfortable with every person that they sent out to work, whether it was Gary who helped with the design and contract to Jason, who took care of the details. Jason was especially very willing to be flexible and make sure everything was to my wife's ultimate satisfaction. All of the craftsman were very detail oriented, and showed that they cared about the end result, and very careful to clean up behind themselves.
Thanks again. We will definitely call TJB for future home-remodeling projects and recommend them to others.
Attached are some before and after pictures of our project.

It's about one year since our kitchen remodeling project and past due putting our feelings on paper. In this post year, I think I have said, 'I love this kitchen!' at least once a day three out of four days. Thanks again for your design ideas, for using great subcontractors, and for your patience-we could not be happier with the end result (we are at "96" on a happiness scale of "100"). Frank, by the way, says that had he known how much more I was going to cook in a remodeled kitchen, we would have done it years ago.
Both guests who remember the old kitchen and new friends who are in the house for the first time extend compliments first on the cherry cabinets, secondly on the decorator tile an the backsplash, and third on the space utilization. The compliments on the cherry cabinets include cudos for the style, the color, and the finishing-we have had furniture makers, construction foremen, and woodworking hobbyists all make positive comments on the quality of wood and workmanship.
After those big-ticket items, including the granite as well, our guests love the spice drawer, the "double drawer" with the sliding utensil tray, the large full-extension pan drawers, the 18-inch floor tile, and the open space under the peninsula.
I would verify the following for any of your prospective clients:
- We sought bids from five contractors before signing with TJB. You were the
most prompt in replying to us, in making design changes, and in answering
telephone calls. Some bidders, even though we asked for certain items, would
not cost those things for us. You always did.
- We chose TJB because of your attention during our bidding process and
because we wanted custom cabinets. You quoted a price which included the
cabinet design of our choice, the color of our choice, the interior of our choice,
and the blueprint of our choice. Best of all, TJB delivered: I think we used
every possible square inch of space and the cabinet design and color not only
complements but matches our existing dining room furniture.
- We were very happy not only with Todd Muehlhauser, your cabinet maker, but
with the electrician, the plumber, the floor tile guy, and the intercom guy. Even
the person who came out just to install two glass shelves and a glass pane to the
corner cabinet immediately realized a measurement error had been made and
took care of it. Our compliments to you for managing the project so efficiently:
even though there were some delays beyond your control, the sub-contractors
were always rescheduled as soon as they could do their next part.
- I know that I could never manage a construction project. You were unbelievably
patient with our constant questions and our occasional distress about what
ultimately was a small detail. Sometimes when I would call your cell phone, I
could imagine you looking at the LCD and being tempted not to answer (smile),
but you always did or returned the call very quickly.
Jason, we also want to thank you for the idea of opening up the space under the peninsula, for adding the bead board behind the shelving, for insisting on the wide crown molding, including putting crown molding on the open wall without cabinets, and for the sink you picked out for us.
I used to work with a guy who, in response to any distressing situation, would say, "Today's big deal is tomorrow's so what." It's an appropriate cliche for the kitchen - a few tiny details that irritated us at the time are pretty insignificant as far as the whole. In the interests of balanced feedback, however ... if there were a magic wand ...
- We love the sink shape but wish the big bowl were on the right.
- We have a 9 foot TV above the peninsula but wish that space had been the half inch
bigger that would have accommodated a 13 foot TV.
- We "think" the peninsula legs would look nicer sitting on top of the tile and
bolted down (??) rather than being tiled in.
- We wish we had just one more under-counter light under the glass cabinet.
- We think we would have the pantry doors in line with the refrigerator panels.
I have to say that not one visitor to our home, including two sons and a daughter who examined the finished project at length, have made any negative comments.
In summary, we love our kitchen. We love to entertain and this design works about 500% better than the old one. The most frequent first comment is, "This is so rich looking..." followed soon by the observation that we will get our money out of it both in enjoyment and in resale.

I wanted to let you know how pleased I am with your remodeling job on my townhouse. I feel so fortunate to have found you after my initial experience on this project with another remodeler who turned out to be a scam artist, I am grateful that you were willing to take over a project that someone else had abandoned. I also appreciate the suggestions you made that improved the end result.
I would have written sooner, but I have been too busy quilting in my spacious new quilt room. I have several new projects on the "design wall" and may never leave the room again - except, of course, to soak in the great tub in my wonderful new master bathroom. My friends are all jealous that I have such an ideal space to do my quilting in. My daughter-in-law says she's going to sneak over to soak in my tub the next time I leave town on vacation.
I appreciate that although my attitude during this project was not the most positive, you and your staff and subs always treated me with courtesy and respect. Mostly I appreciate that you did what you said you were going to do when you said you were going to do it! After waiting four months for the other guy to do a two month job, your approach was refreshing and I am exceedingly grateful.
Please feel free to share my letter, use me as a reference and or my project as an example whenever you wish.
PS: If You want to bring your wife over to see my room and my quilts, let me know - I love showing it off!
